Privacy policy

What we collect

Your name and email address when you buy, sign in or contact support.

Your orders: what you bought, the licence tier, the currency and amount, and Paystack's payment reference. We never receive your card or bank details.

Licence activations: the address of each site where you activate your key, and the theme version it runs, so we can count sites and offer updates.

The country your visit comes from (from our network provider), only to choose a currency. We do not store it.

Messages you send to support, and your email address if you ask to hear when plugins or Shopify themes launch.

Why we use it

To sell you a licence and deliver it, to run licence activation and updates, to answer support requests, to keep records the law requires for sales, and to stop fraud and key sharing.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

We email you about your orders, licences and account. We only send launch news if you asked for it, and you can ask us to stop at any time.

Cookies

We use cookies to remember your currency, light or dark mode and whether you are browsing WordPress or Shopify themes, and cookies that keep you signed in. Your cart and theme comparison are kept in your browser. There are no analytics or advertising cookies.

Who else handles it

Paystack (payments), Supabase (our database and file storage, in the EU), Postmark (email delivery), Cloudflare (network and security) and our hosting provider. Each only processes data to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

Orders and licences for as long as your licence exists and then as long as tax and accounting law requires. Support messages for up to two years after the conversation ends. You can ask us to delete your account at any time; we keep only what the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to privacy@plinthmarket.com. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell customers by email before the change takes effect.
